Danny Dimian
Danny Dimian Biography:
Born in Romania and raised in Canada, Danny Dimian moved to Los Angeles 11 years ago to develop computer generated imagery for the film industry. His photography is concerned with the the visual impact civilization has on the natural landscape. The work focuses on the dynamic boundary between man and nature where neither is in full control. The outskirts of cities, abandoned towns, and areas of rapid development are typical subjects.
This series of photographs continues this exploration and focuses on the Salton Sea where the landscape is littered with abandoned development as nature is slowly taking back the land.
